Oregon berries truly are incredible! Say what you will about rain, gray skies, gloom, more rain...but these berries make the whole thing so worthwhile! They are huge, bursting with flavor, the richest most beautiful color, & a pure joy to work with. I try very hard to ensure they all go into the jam, but often they don't. I eat them by the handful, & rarely feel the least bit guilty. Today another batch of Nevermore Jam will be made, using another Northwest berry ~ blueberries, as well as the famed Doug Fir tips. A true Northwest concoction guaranteed to have you renting 'Twin Peaks' & planning a vacation to Snoqualamie Falls in no time...
