Inspiration

Ideas can come from so many places, & most often, are unexpected. Norman, our resident corvid friend, popped in one day out of the blue. He fell into the chicken coop in a state of disarray & needed some assistance. After spending some time here, we developed quite a fondness for him. Pink Slip Jam will be making a limited supply of Nevermore Jam in honor of Norm. This jam captures the plushness of the black feathers, dazzling blue eyes, & his preferred dwelling . Using plump blackberries, juicy blueberries, & Doug fir tips, we'd like to think this is more than a Twin Peaks kind of moment! Northwest, for certain, yet delicious anywhere. Great on toast, served with scones for tea, or baked into Thumbprint cookies, this one is a beauty.
