Sultry August Bounty

We are no where near ending our adoration of all things berry-oriented, yet the lovely siren song of peaches is calling...For your consideration we will be making Lavender Peach Jam & an old favorite, Peach Pistachio Chutney. In addition, there have been Summertime thoughts meandering toward a decadent Lady Grey Jam which will have hints of basil & Earl Grey Tea mingling with those lovely stone fruits. They are ripe, luscious, juicy, & conjure up all sorts of thoughts of lazy Summer afternoons. While sipping some iced tea & partaking of scones & jam, you may want to re-visit an old friend, T.S. Eliot. I can never see a peach without thinking of 'The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock', tho' I think the outlook for all the jam fans must be far less gloomy than his. Do you dare?
