Pink Slip Jam is busily making a special Autumn treat today ~ Paradise Jam, so called because the fruits included quince, apples, & cranberries were considered sublime by early American New Englanders. Our recipe also includes candied ginger, star anise, and a few other heavenly bits of magic to make an all-out Holiday taste sensation. Perfect with cheese, turkey, hot corn bread muffins, or spooned into tarts for a really beautiful dessert. The color is rosy, the taste is sweetly tart with hints of spice, the smell is redolent of beautiful Northwest fruit.
