In a Terrible Jam

Many of you know me personally, & many of you know of me thru' Pink Slip Jam alone. Today I will not be in the kitchen, tho' I am in hot water, so to speak. Our beloved Jack Russell, Ed, has wandered off. We were about ready to take a day trip for some rest & inspiration. It was reported a young lady picked Ed up. Normally, a cute blond picking up a handsome boy is good news. This is not. Ed recently underwent expensive & extensive vet treatments for Salmon Poisoning Disease. In addition to his noble face & snout, he has a shaved front right leg from where the catheter was placed. He has long bristly hair on his back - which, in his case, actually looks good. The boys had removed his collar so his dog tags would not make noise at night. You see, he insists on sleeping with humans. He is a true pack animal, tho' there are times his idea of his 'pack' is expansive & roams beyond our yard's confines. We miss him. We love him. We know this young lady has only the best intentions, tho' she does not know what is going on with Ed's health needs. PLEASE keep Ed in your thoughts & if you are in SE Portland, please let us know if you see him. We are just trying to keep our heads above water here. Thanks, Jam Fans. We love our pooch & want him safe & sound.

  1. Soooo glad Ed the wandering dog is back home safe and sound. It's a good thing your other three boys know how to behave! xo

  2. They don't really...they'll be in hot water soon enough themselves! But thanks for the vote of confidence!

  3. Autumn has arrived! Ed is busily rediscovering the allure of Happy Hour. If anyone runs into him, please do not encourage his crab cake issues! He is alarmingly charming but do not be fooled! Phone calls home from amused yet over-worked bar tenders need to be kept to a minimum!
